Snow Day

Ok this is my first attempt at blogging. I'm certain that no one cares what I have to say. I don't even care what I have to say. Anyway, we're experiencing a Level 3 snow emergency today and I didn't have to work. It's a kind of snow day for adults. You can hear the kids outside excited about sledding, making snowmen, all that winter fun.
Although there were plenty of constructive things I might have done today, I chose to just run a couple of errands and goof off. I had the TV news on for a while and it's quite depressing. I've come to the conclusion that none of our brilliant leaders knows what the hell to do to aid our (seriously) slumping economy. Somebody had better steer this sinking ship or we could all be in the Soup Line in a few months.
